This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Win big while donating to a great cause! We're running a Football Squares Contest for the Detroit Lions 2020 season. Please support New Hope Center for Grief Support by purchasing your football square(s) today. $200 of all donations go to four lucky winners!

Pool Information

1. The Lions football pool will consist of a 10 x 10 grid making up 100 squares. The entry fee is $5 per square. There is no limit on the number of squares a person may buy.
2. After all the squares have been purchased, the numbers 0 - 9 will be randomly selected and assigned to each of the 10 columns in the grid. The numbers 0 - 9 will again be randomly selected and assigned to each of the 10 rows in the grid. The numbers for each column and row represent the last digit of the score for the teams playing in the game.
3. Entry fees are due 2 hours before game time. Purchase your squares ASAP. Once all the squares are sold, no further entries will be permitted and there are no refunds.
4. The player who owns the square that represents the score at the end of each quarter during the game will win.
5. If the game goes into overtime, the final score will be used instead of the 4th quarter score.
6. The columns will always represent the Lions. The rows will always represent their opponent, regardless of the text posted on the web site.

For example, if the score at the end of the 1st quarter is 14 (Lions) - 3 (opponent), the person who has the square in column 4 (Lions) and the row 3 (opponent) will win.

Prizes
The winner of each quarter will receive $50. If the game goes into overtime, the final score will be used instead of the 4th quarter score. Prizes will be prorated if all squares are not purchased. Winners will be notified by email.

If a winning square is not selected, the prize will be raffled off. Everyone who purchased squares will have their name entered into the drawing, once for each square they purchased. The raffle will occur after the conclusion of the game.

If there is a discrepancy on the web site, the commissioner will be the sole determiner of the winners.

A small donation will be made to the Super Bowl Pool Site from each pool.
