A Note From the Website

This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.

General Rules
A. The Super Bowl pool will consist of a 10 X 10 grid making up 100 squares. The entry fee is $20 per square and there is no limit on the number of squares a person may buy.

B. After all the squares have been purchased, the numbers 0 - 9 will be randomly selected and assigned to each of the 10 columns in the grid. The numbers for each column represent the last digit of the score for the AFC team in the Super Bowl. The numbers 0 - 9 will again be randomly selected and assigned to each of the 10 rows in the grid. The numbers for each row represent the last digit of the score for the NFC team in the Super Bowl.

C. Entry fees are due by February 5th and there will be no refunds after February 5th or after the pool has been filled and the numbers have been revealed.

2. SUPER BOWL

A. The player who owns the square that represents the score at the end of each quarter during the Super Bowl will win. For example, if the score at the end of the 1st quarter is 3 (AFC team) - 14 (NFC team), the person who has the square in column 3, row 4 will win.

B. Only quarters 1 through 4 are part of the pool. If the Super Bowl goes into overtime, the overtime period does not count toward the pool.
