This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.
While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.
Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.
Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.
General Rules
We are limiting all members to 4 squares initially so everyone has a chance to buy a square if they want to. We will open the pool back up to buying additional squares on Saturday before the game.
The numbers correspond to the team name shown above or to the left of them. For example if the score is Eagles 3 to Bengals 7 then the square corresponding to Eagles 3/Bengals 7 for those teams would be the winner at the end of that quarter.
The numbers are drawn automatically at the end when all squares have been sold.
If you do not have a name in a square or a corresponding SBYC account number you are not in the pool as we can not charge you.
The square you chose without proper info will be deleted and opened back up for anyone else to choose it properly.
I have already chosen my square so you can see how to do it. I am Toni Heyneker and my square shows Toni 1278.
If you have any questions about anything please feel free to contact me at SBYCsuperbowl@gmail. com
Your SBYC account will be charged $10 for each square you choose. When the game is over, the winners will receive checks from Gloria for the amount you won.
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter wins pay $200 each. The 4th quarter also pays $200 , but could pay $400 if there is no overtime or 5th quarter played.
Prizes
If there is no overtime or 5th quarter than the 4th quarter payout is an additional $200.
A check will be sent to you.
