This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

If you are not familiar with how a Super Bowl pool works, here is how it works. There are 100 squares on the grid. A random number will be drawn to assign each row and a separate random number will be drawn for each column. Every square on the grid will have 1 number for the AFC team and 1 for the NFC team. Winners are determined by looking at the last number in each of the teams' score, and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers. An example would be if the Eagles and Chiefs score at the end of the first quarter was Eagles 33, and Chiefs 24. The last number for the Eagles is 3, and the last number for the Chiefs is 4. The square on the grid that has the Eagles with a number of 3, and Chiefs score of 4 wins that quarter.
