A Note From the Website

This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.

General Rules
Squares

Numbers will be randomly drawn after all 50 squares are filled in. Each individual square has the same chance to win each of the 63 games (i.e. - a single square could win multiple games). Example of winning square: North Carolina 92, Kansas 88; winning square = horizontal 2, vertical 8. Each square will have 2 numbers for the winning team and 1 number for the losing team. Double the chances of winning!

Winners

Each game in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament (excluding the play-in game) will have a corresponding winning square. Horizontal numbers represent the last digit of the winning team's score and Vertical numbers represent the last digit of the losing team's score. For each game, the person who owns the square that matches the last digit of the winning and losing team's final score wins that game.
