This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.
While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.
Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.
Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.
General Rules
Here is more information for our fundraiser. Squares are $25 each. The total pot will be $2,500. The team keeps 50% as a fundraiser, the rest goes to the winners of the pool. The payouts will be $300 for each of the first 3 quarters and $350 for the 4th quarter. (In the event of overtime, 4th quarter winner will get $175 and end game winner will get $175).
Numbers will be randomly generated from this site 48 hours or earlier before kick-off.
After the Super Bowl, the winnings will be sent to the winners back through payment method they used (e.g., zelle).
If you are not familiar with how a Super Bowl pool works, here is how it works. There are 100 squares on the grid. A random number will be drawn to assign each row and a separate random number will be drawn for each column. Every square on the grid will have 1 number for the AFC team and 1 for the NFC team. Winners are determined by looking at the last number in each of the teams' score, and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers. An example would be if the Chiefs were playing the 49ers, and the score at the end of the first quarter was Chiefs 33, and 49ers 24. The last number for the Chiefs is 3, and the last number for the 49ers is 4. The square on the grid that has the Chiefs with a number of 3, and 49ers score of 4 wins that quarter!
Prizes
2nd Quarter - $300
3rd Quarter - $300
4th Quarter - $175
Final Winner - $175
Note, no overtime game would mean 4th Q winner gets $350.
