General Rules
These are the rules of the game and how it is played. It is very similar to the previous years we have played, just online now.

Here is how the game is played:

You will provide an email address and name in order to play. Once that is completed, you may go to the game section/board and then click on the squares you want your name to be in.

For the purpose of nobody deleting their name out of the squares, once you click a square, you are locked into it. You will not be able to delete your name from the square, so make sure you know what you want before clicking away at the squares. The only way your name can be deleted is if you send an email, or contact me and I will be able to delete it for you.

There are 100 squares and 4 game boards, one for each quarter. Just got to the 1st QTR grid and click on the boxes to enter your name. When you click a square, your name will automatically fill in on the other 3 quarters. There is a winner for each quarter.

The numbers are randomly computer generated. Once all the squares are full and all the pool money has gotten to me, I will lock the boards and generate the numbers. Even though your name stays in the same squares each quarter, the numbers will be different.

The final score for each quarter determines the winner. For example, if the Chiefs score is 7 and 49ers score is 0 at the end of the 1st quarter, then whosever's name intersects with these numbers is our winner for that quarter. If the score is double digits, the 2nd number is used to determine the number. Example: Chiefs 21 - 49ers 14, the number 1 and 4 is used to determine the winner.

(NEW THIS YEAR) If the game goes into OT, we will have an additional winner. The final numbers in the 4th quarter will be used to determine the winner, and then the numbers in OT will be a winner as well. In this case, the 4th quarter winner receives 75% of the winnings and the OT winner receives the remaining 15%. This is just to keep the suspense going and make the game a bit funner, if it turns out that there will be an OT.

For prize and buy-in information, please go to the 'Prize Details' section.
Prizes
Last Update: 1/3/2024 7:38 PM

When you click into a square, your name will be added to all 4 quarters, automatically, so you are paying for 1 square/Qtr.

The price you will pay for 4 squares is $5.00. This will be the breakdown for the prize each quarter:

1st QTR - $100 = $1.00/square
2nd QTR - $100 = $1.00/square
3rd QTR - $100 = $1.00/Square
4th QTR - $200 = $2.00/ Square
(This is based off of all 100 squares/QTR being filled)

If the game goes into overtime, there will be 2 winners. 4th QTR winner will get 75% of the winnings & the winner in OT will get 15%. If all squares are full for the 4th quarter, this means 4th QTR winner gets $150 and the OT winner will receive $50.

When you add up your costs, you are just adding each square you put your name in for the 1st QTR (Because your name autofill's in the remaining quarters). So, if you buy 5 squares, $5.00 x 5 squares = $25.00. This means you are paying to have 5 squares in each of the 4 QTRs.

(Same way it was played last year) - Again, you are buying in for all of the quarters with $5.00.
Payments
READ CAREFULLY -

The preferred method is just to give me cash. However, if you are not local, you may use Venmo or CashApp to send the payment for your squares.

If you are not local, but you were referred by someone that is playing in the contest and they are in the same area as me, please work something out with them to get cash for me.

Payment is due within 24 hours of you picking your squares. The day before, and the day of Superbowl, payment is due immediately, when you pick your squares.

(FEES) - If you pay through Venmo, or CashApp, in addition to the cost of your squares, you will be required to pay an additional 2.00%. Example: $25.00 (Squares) X 2.00% = $0.50. Your total would be $25.50 that you will need to send.

Unless you have made arrangements with me, there are no exceptions to these payment rules. If you do not have your payment submitted to me in the timeframe mentioned above, your name will be removed from all squares.

I will also report to the collection's agency, and all 3 credit bureaus. Your credit will be destroyed!
