This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.
While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.
Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.
Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.
General Rules
1st Round: 32 games = Winners receive $8 per game, March 21-22
2nd Round: 16 games = Winners receive $16 per game, March 23-24
Sweet 16: 8 games = Winners receive $30 per game, March 28-29
Elite 8: 4 games = Winners receive $60 per game, March 30-31
Final Four: 2 games = Winners receive $130 per game, April 6
Championship: 1 game = Winner receives $250, April 8
After all squares are sold, the numbers 0-9 are randomly assigned to each row and column in the grid, making 100 unique combinations.
The last digit of each team’s final winning score will identify a square, and the owner of that square will win the corresponding prize for that round. If a game ends 91 - 87 the winning square would be the one that corresponds with 1 under winner and 7 under loser. There are 63 games, so each square has 63 chances to win a prize!
Please note: contest will close on March 18 or when all squares are sold.
Any winning squares that aren’t purchased, the prize money will be added to the final game. If the final game winning square is not purchased the prize will be shared with all winners equally.
