This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

If you are new to Super Bowl Squares don't worry, it is really easy to play.

The setup for Super Bowl squares is simple. A pool consists of 10 vertical columns and 10 horizontal rows thatched together and numbered from zero to nine.

One Super Bowl team—in this year's case either the Chiefs or Bucs—gets the columns and the other gets the rows. Each of the 100 squares inside are purchased individually for $40. Players can then buy as many squares as they'd like.

The numbers assigned to each row and column are selected at random once every box of the pool has been sold.

How to win:

At the end of every quarter, the person whose square corresponds with the intersection of the second digit of each team’s score wins a prize (for example, a 14–7 score at the end of the first quarter pays out the owner of the square at row 4, column 7). Every quarter will see the prize money increase. So buy a few squares, support a great cause, and find yourself where the money resides!

Half of the money raised will go to support the creation of the Ted Gatlin Jr Scholarship fund. The rest of the money will be distributed to winners as follows:

$200 for the winner of the 1st quarter
$400 for the winner of the 2nd quarter
$600 for the winner of the 3rd quarter
$800 for the winner of the 4th quarter
(no award for overtime)

All payments will be accepted via Cash App. Send payments ($40 a square) to $irrefutable and add a note with your email address.
