This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.

Here are the rules to ensure everyone has a great time and understands how the game works:

1. Purchasing Squares
- Each square costs $20.
- Participants can purchase as many squares as they like.
- All squares must be sold before the game begins.

2. Filling the Grid
- The grid consists of 100 squares (10x10).
- Once all squares are sold, participants will write their names in the squares they have purchased.

3. Assigning Numbers
- Numbers 0-9 will be randomly assigned to the rows and columns of the grid after all squares are filled.
- The rows represent one team, and the columns represent the other team.

4. Determining Winners
- At the end of each quarter, the last digit of each team's score will determine the winning square.
- For example, if the score at the end of the 1st quarter is Team A 14, Team B 7, the person with the square corresponding to Team A 4 and Team B 7 wins the 1st quarter prize.
- The same process is repeated for the 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter, and the final score.

5. Payout Structure
- 1st Quarter Winner: $150
- 2nd Quarter Winner: $200
- 3rd Quarter Winner: $250
- Final Score Winner: $400

6. Foundation Donation
- Half of the total money collected will be donated to the Kyle Pease Foundation.
- The remaining half will be distributed as prizes to the winners.

7. Prize Distribution
- Winners will be announced at the end of each quarter and after the final score.
- Prizes will be distributed shortly after the game.

8. Fair Play
- All participants must adhere to the rules and respect the random assignment of numbers.
