A Note From the Website

This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.

General Rules
General Rules:

• Each square costs $25.00.

• Every time the score changes, the payout will be $50 for the square matching the score. If the NFC scores a touchdown, whoever has 6 & 0 wins $50. If they make the extra point, whoever has 7 & 0 wins $50. AFC then comes down and kicks a field goal. Whoever has 7 & 3, wins $50. If AFC then scores a touchdown, whoever has 7 & 9, wins $50. If they make a two point conversion, whoever has 7 & 1 wins $50. And so on...

• $75.00 will be paid to whoever has the square at the end of each quarter. Using the example above, if the first quarter ends with the score NFC: 7 & AFC: 3, whoever has that square wins $75.00. If you happen to be “unlucky” and have the reverse numbers (i.e., NFC: 3 & AFC: 7), you win $25.00.

• Only the first three quarters will be paid the $75. Fourth quarter is not paid out, only the final "Grand Prize" defined below. "Unlucky" Final Score will pay out $50.

• In addition to the above payoffs, $75 will be paid for “toe points,” which is the total points added up by each team’s kicker. For example, if NFC kicks 2 field goals and 1 extra point, that adds up to 7. If AFC kicks 1 field goal and 5 extra points, that adds up to 8. Therefore, whoever has 7 & 8, wins $75. The “toe points” will be based on the final score.

• The person who has the square for the final score splits the remaining money 50/50 with the Boosters.
