This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.
While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.
Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.
Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.
General Rules
A board features 10 rows and 10 columns, adding up to 100 squares total. The NFC Team is assigned the rows, while the AFC Team is assigned the columns.
Each participant chooses one or more squares on the board and submits payment ($20/square). Once selected, their name will appear in the square(s).
After all the squares have been filled, numbers between zero and nine are randomly chosen for each row and column. Each square will have a corresponding row and column number. At the end of each quarter, the participant whose two numbers match the end digits of each team’s point total will win.
For example, if the score at the end of the first quarter is Eagles 42, Dolphins 3, the player whose box corresponds with “2” for Philadelphia (NFC) and “3” for Miami (AFC) would win the quarterly payout.

3rd Quarter - $250
