A Note From the Website

This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.

General Rules
Super Bowl Squares Rules
1. The Game Board: The game board consists of a 10x10 grid, creating 100 squares in total. Each row and column is labeled with numbers 0-9, corresponding to the last digit of the score for each team.
2. Purchasing Squares: Participants can buy one or more squares. Each square costs $25. To purchase, simply choose an available square(s) on the grid and write your name in the corresponding box.
3. Assigning Numbers: Once all squares are filled, numbers 0-9 will be randomly assigned to each row and column, representing the last digit of each team’s score at the end of each quarter (and the final score).
4. Scoring: At the end of each quarter, the last digit of each team’s score will determine the winning square. For example, if the score is Team A: 17, Team B: 14, then the square where Team A’s last digit (7) and Team B’s last digit (4) intersect wins.
5. Winning: The person whose square corresponds to the last digits of each team’s score at the end of the quarter wins that round’s prize!

Good luck, and enjoy the game!
