A Note From the Website

This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.

General Rules
Super Bowl Pool Contest Rules:

Entry Fee: Each participant must pay an entry fee of $20 . Entry fees will be collected before the game.

Pool Grid: The pool will be organized into a 10x10 grid (100 squares total). Each participant will choose a square(s) or squares (based on the number of entries and cost per square).

Numbers Assignment: After all squares are filled, random numbers (0-9) will be assigned to each row and column of the grid. These numbers represent the last digit of each team’s score at the end of each quarter and the final score.

Scoring:

At the end of each quarter (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th), the last digit of each team's score will determine the winner for that quarter.
Example: If the score at the end of the first quarter is Team A 14, Team B 7, the person whose square corresponds to Team A’s last digit (4) and Team B’s last digit (7) wins that quarter.
Payouts:

1st Quarter: $100 payout
Halftime: $300 payout
3rd Quarter: $100 payout
Final Score: $500 payout
Tiebreaker: In the event of a tie, the tie-breaker rules will be predetermined (such as splitting the prize, drawing for a winner, etc.).

Eligibility: Anyone who has paid the entry fee and chosen a square(s) is eligible to win. Participants can enter multiple times if allowed by the pool organizer.

Payments: All payments must be received before the game starts. No late entries or payments will be accepted once the game begins. Payment will be made through Venmo. Please send your payment to @SaudadesDoRibatejo before the game begins to confirm your spot in the pool.

Good Sportsmanship: Let’s keep it fun and friendly! All participants should act with good sportsmanship, and any inappropriate behavior may result in disqualification.
