A Note From the Website

This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.

General Rules
If you are not familiar with how a Super Bowl block pool works, here is how it works:

* There are 100 squares on the grid. A random number will be drawn to assign each row and a separate random number will be drawn for each column.
* Every square on the grid will have 1 number for the HOME team (Eagles) and 1 for the AWAY team (Chiefs).
* Winners are determined by looking at the last number in each of the teams' score, and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing which square intersects those two numbers. An example would be if the score at the end of the first quarter was Eagles 33, and Chiefs 24 you take the last number for the Eagles which is 3 and the last number for the Chiefs which is 4. The square on the grid that has the Eagles with a number of 3 and the Chiefs with a number of 4 wins that quarter!

* You will pick a number of blocks that you would like to purchase for the game and you own that same block for all 4 quarters, however, the numbers randomly assigned to the rows and columns will change every quarter. The numbers you own in the 1st quarter will change in the 2nd quarter, the 3rd quarter, and finally again in the 4th quarter (overtime stays the same as 4th quarter). This prevents the same person from winning two quarters in a row if the score doesn't change and will also allow for those players who might not get the "best" numbers from having less of a chance to win.
* Numbers will be posted here online so please check back to get a copy of your numbers for each quarter.

The grid will be locked and numbers automatically generated once all 100 blocks are sold or at 5pm EST on Sunday, February 9th, whichever comes first.
