This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.
While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.
Whether youâre new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.
Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.
General Rules
-The game consists of a 10x10 grid (100 squares total).
-Each square is available for purchase, and participants can choose a square by writing their name in the box.
-The rows represent one team's score (typically the home team), and the columns represent the other team's score (the away team).
2. Assigning Numbers:
-After all the squares are filled, each row and column is randomly assigned a number from 0 to 9.
-The numbers correspond to the last digit of each team's score. For example:
Row 1 might correspond to "0", Row 2 to "1", and so on.
Column 1 might correspond to "0", Column 2 to "1", and so on.
-These numbers are randomly assigned, so there's no skill or strategy in picking a squareâitâs completely random.
3. Winning Criteria:
-At the end of each quarter (and sometimes at halftime or the end of the game), the last digit of each teamâs score is checked.
For example, if the score is:
Home Team: 13 and Away Team: 7
You look at the last digit of each score: 3 for the home team and 7 for the away team.
You then find the square where the home team's row (3) and the away team's column (7) intersect.
-The person who owns that square wins the prize for that quarter (or the final score, depending on the rules).
4. Prizes:
-Prizes are usually awarded at the end of each quarter (and sometimes a grand prize at the end of the game).
-The amount won for each quarter will be predetermined.
-There will be multiple rounds of prizes for different portions of the game (such as 1st quarter, halftime, 3rd quarter, and final score).
-The game is fun because it doesn't require knowledge of footballâit's purely based on luck!

Prizes
1st- 15% of total payout
2nd- 30% of total payout
3rd- 15% of total payout
4th/final score- 40% of total payout
