A Note From the Website

This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.

General Rules
Once all the squares are filled, we’ll randomize the grid.  Each square gets two numbers - one for the winning team and one for the losing.  This represents the last digit of the final score.  If your numbers are 2-0 and the final score is Syracuse 72 and Georgetown 70, you win!  If the next game is Duke 82 and UNC 70, you win again!

Squares are $100 each.  $25 goes as a donation to ADF and the other $75 goes into the pot, making our total purse $7,500!  Payouts for each game are:

First round (not play-in games) - $25/game
Second round - $100/game
Third Round (Sweet Sixteen) - $200/game
Fourth Round (Elite Eight) - $300/game
Fifth Round (Final Four) - $500/game
Final Game - $1,300

* If not all boxes are sold, prize amounts will be divided proportionally based off all total boxes sold. Any empty boxes will be labelled as "ADF" and winnings will be donated to the foundation.

** If not all games are played (e.g. due to Covid), prizes will be divided proportionally based off of total games in that particular round
