This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.
While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.
Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.
Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.
General Rules
Click any square in the grid and type in your name. This choice is random and you don't need to know anything about college basketball to play. This site will assign random numbers to each row and column after all squares are filled.
For the halftime score winners, the "winning" team is the team that is ahead at halftime. It does not matter if that team does not go on to win the game. So let's say your "winning team" number is 4 and your "losing team" number is 8. If the score at halftime is something like 34-28, 44-28, or 54-38, you would win that square, regardless of the final outcome of the game.
For the final score winners, the outcome is determined at the end of the game, including any overtime.
Once the March Madness NCAA Final Four games are played on Saturday, April 3, and the championship game is played on Monday, April 5, check this site to find out if your square is a winner. Carolyn and Ron will also let you know if you won and pay you your winnings via the same method you used to pay for the contest. The cost for each square is $20.
40% of the proceeds will be donated to HW Global Foundation, with the remaining 60% to be split among the winners. If we are able to fill all squares, the winners will be paid out as follows:
Halftime Score of NCAA Final Four Game 1: $150
Final Score of NCAA Final Four Game 1: $200
Halftime Score of NCAA Final Four Game 2: $150
Final Score of NCAA Final Four Game 2: $200
Halftime Score of NCAA Championship Game: $200
Final Score of NCAA Championship Game: $300
If you have any questions, please contact Carolyn or Ron on WeChat, or text Carolyn at 301-275-4592.
Good luck!!!
Prizes
If the numbers you selected on the contest grid match the second digits of any of the halftime or final game scores for the two NCAA Final Four games and Championship game, you will win as follows:
Halftime Score of NCAA Final Four Game 1: $150
Final Score of NCAA Final Four Game 1: $200
Halftime Score of NCAA Final Four Game 2: $150
Final Score of NCAA Final Four Game 2: $200
Halftime Score of NCAA Championship Game: $200

*If we are not able to sell all of the squares, the prize distributions will be pro-rated, and we will let players know how we plan to proceed.
