This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.

Players may select any open box for $20 per box.

When all boxes are sold and participating NFL teams have been decided, the grid will be populated randomly with numbers.

The player's box bordering the appropriate numbers at the end of each quarter play shall win the stated prize for that quarter. The bordering digits on a player's box will represent the final digit in team scoring. For example if the score at the end of Q1 is NFC 21 - AFC 14, the player with the corresponding numbers N1 and A4 will be the winner.

When all squares are sold, the payouts will be as follows:

Total score at end of Q1: $75
Total score at end of Q2: $100
Total score at end of Q3: $125
Total score at end of game (Q4 or OT): $500

All leftover funds ($1,200) will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association through my 'Longest Day' rollercoaster marathon fundraiser scheduled June 2022!!
