A Note From the Website

This Super Bowl Squares contest is a free, online game created by your commissioner.

While there are some common scoring rules across different contests, we give contest commissioners the freedom to create their own rules for their squares contest.

Whether you’re new to the concept or a seasoned squares aficionado, we've found it's best to make sure you're familiar with the specific rules of your contest, so you know exactly what to cheer for when watching the game.

Any questions you have about the rules of this contest should be directed towards your contest commissioner, whose contact information is found at the top of every page in this contest.

General Rules
1. The average score in the NFL is 24-21 which equates to roughly 15 score changes. To be conservative, we allocated for 20 score changes or 400 per score change.
2. When the game begins, whoever holds 0-0 wins 400.
3. Every score change thereafter wins as well, i.e. field goal 3-0.
4. Touchdowns win on both the touchdown & the PAT, i.e. 6-0 & 7-0.
5. The reverse score at the end of each quarter wins 400, i.e., if at the end of the first quarter its AFC 17, NFC 13, then NFC 7, AFC 3 would win. PLEASE NOTE: Should any quarter end in the same #’s, 20 – 10, 41 – 21, 24 – 14, 27 – 17, etc., 1 will be ADDED to the AFC score & 1 will be SUBTRACTED from the NFC score & then will be reversed.
6. The pool continues until there are either 20 score changes or the game ends. If there are more than 20 score changes, score change 21 & on gets nothing as the pot has been doled out completely. If there are less than 20 score changes, the holder of the final score wins the remainder of the pot.

Payments
If anyone is not able to pay via one of the methods below, you can pay via check. My address is 2 Bayberry Ct., Holtsville, NY 11742.

PLEASE do NOT reference "Pools" or "Squares" or anything of the like in your payments. Instead, choose something like soccer team fundraiser, concert tickets, dinner, etc. Regardless of how you send it, PLEASE don’t make me chase you. While green is obviously king, the methods here are fine as well.

Good luck!
