Below you will find an interactive tool that you can use to predict and discover the scoring combinations that will make any box - especially yours - a winner on gameday.
Feel free to adjust the scoring possibilities below by pressing the buttons for various scoring types for each team (Touchdowns, Field Goals, Extra Points, etc). While this is clearly set up for football games, you can use the "Extra Point" buttons to incrementally simulate any sport, from soccer or hockey to basketball or baseball, adding to each point tally one point at a time.
Kindly note that all prize allocations, tie-break procedures, and final decisions are solely at the discretion of your contest creator, so please be sure to review any specific guidelines they’ve set.
While many squares contests follow common formats (e.g., awarding a portion of the prize at the end of each quarter), we give commissioners the freedom to develop their own unique rules and payout structures to keep things fresh and engaging.
If you have any questions about how winners were selected or how prizes are distributed, please contact your commissioner directly. Their contact information should be present at the top of every page in this contest.
Demonstration of How Squares Contests Work
This is a fully functional demonstration of how most squares contests determine the winning box.
Use the scoreboard below to change the current score for each team, and notice the impact that has on the squares grid below. As you change scores, you'll see a demonstration of how the new current winning box moves to a new box.
Note: Some contests employ slightly different or obscure rules for determining winners. This is just an example of the traditional concept. Be sure to consult the Rules Page for any posted rules regarding how winners are identified. Any further questions should be directed toward the Contest Commissioner, whose contact details are found at the top of every Contest page.

Answers to Common Scoring Questions
Only the second digit of each team's score is typically used to determine the row and column of the winning square.
For example, if the final score is Chiefs 10 - Eagles 14, the intersection of Chiefs "0" and Eagles "4" would be considered the big winner.
Please note that this is general advice only. Always check with the rules page or your contest commissioner for specific rules.
Typically, the last digit of each team’s score at the end of each quarter is used to determine the winning square for that quarter's prize. For instance, if the score at the end of a quarter is Chiefs 17 and Eagles 13, the square at "7" and "3" would be the winner of that prize.
In many contests, the final score after any overtime is used to determine the ultimate winning prize. Some commissioners track both "end of regulation" (ie: the fourth quarter score) and final Overtime Score as separate prizes. Refer to your specific contest's rules to see which approach is used.
Please note that this is general advice only. Always check with the rules page or your contest commissioner for specific rules.
In a standard squares contest, only one square exists for each combination of scoring possibilities.
However, we offer full flexibility for commissioners to use their imagination when creating a contest that they find potentially interesting and fun for their participants.
Because of this flexibility, it is possible for some contests to have multiple boxes with the same coordinates, yielding the potential for split prizes or whatever the imaginative commissioner has architected.
Please note that this is general advice only. Always check with the rules page or your contest commissioner for specific rules.
