Hello and welcome to the Online Superbowl 2024 Squares Contest!

This is the 1st year of trying this contest online. Because of everyone being scattered out and other headaches in the past, I have decided to go the online way and for the contestants, it is in real-time and provides a more
better, interactive experience.

But, don't worry, if you are not very savvy with all that, it's cool. Once the board is full and the numbers have been randomly drawn, you will have the option to print out the grid board, so you can keep it handy during the game.

We also have a chat feature that everyone can talk crap on each other during the game, if you choose to do so. In order to put your name on the board, you are required to give an email address & a name. This is so we know it is a valid, real-person that is playing.

Make sure you read the rules of the contest, and the payment rules as well.

You may invite friends/family to this contest so we can get the squares filled up. You either got to here from a link that brought you direct, or you had to put in a contest PW. You may send that same link or hit the invite button on the main page of the contest website.

I can fill in the names manually as well, so if there are players that can't get on the website to pick their own squares, contact me.

NFL 2024 Square Pool is an online squares contest created for free at Super Bowl Pool Site.

These are the rules of the game and how it is played. It is very similar to the previous years we have played, just online now.

Here is how the game is played:

You will provide an email address and name in order to play. Once that is completed, you may go to the game section/board and then click on the squares you want your name to be in.

For the purpose of nobody deleting their name out of the squares, once you click a square, you are locked into it. You will not be able to delete your name from the square, so make sure you know what you want before clicking away at the squares. The only way your name can be deleted is if you send an email, or contact me and I will be able to delete it for you.

There are 100 squares and 4 game boards, one for each quarter. Just got to the 1st QTR grid and click on the boxes to enter your name. When you click a square, your name will automatically fill in on the other 3 quarters. There is a winner for each quarter.

The numbers are randomly computer generated. Once all the squares are full and all the pool money has gotten to me, I will lock the boards and generate the numbers. Even though your name stays in the same squares each quarter, the numbers will be different.

The final score for each quarter determines the winner. For example, if the Chiefs score is 7 and 49ers score is 0 at the end of the 1st quarter, then whosever's name intersects with these numbers is our winner for that quarter. If the score is double digits, the 2nd number is used to determine the number. Example: Chiefs 21 - 49ers 14, the number 1 and 4 is used to determine the winner.

(NEW THIS YEAR) If the game goes into OT, we will have an additional winner. The final numbers in the 4th quarter will be used to determine the winner, and then the numbers in OT will be a winner as well. In this case, the 4th quarter winner receives 75% of the winnings and the OT winner receives the remaining 15%. This is just to keep the suspense going and make the game a bit funner, if it turns out that there will be an OT.
